If there is one thing the turks do really well, it is giving a Turkish twist to an already fantastic TV show. With the success of Mucize Doktor on FOX, it is no surprise that Kanal D is a hurry to launch their own medical drama, theirs a remake of popular American series, 'House M.D.', which ran for 8 whole seasons, through the years 2004 - 2012.
For those of you who haven't seen the original, House M.D. followed the story of Dr House, "an ingenious and unsociable physician who flouts hospital rules, clashes with fellow doctors and his assistants as he comes up with controversial hypotheses about his patients' illnesses."
The Turkish remake is titled Hekimoğlu and its star-studded cast includes Timuçin Esen, Aytaç Şaşmaz, Ebru Ozkan, Okan Yalabık and Kaan Yıldırım.
Though the premiere date remains unknown, Kanal D today unveiled the first teaser of the series. Check it out below!
