The nominees for the 51st International Emmys® were announced today (Sept 26) by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Among the nominees in the "Telenovela" category is Turkish series Yargı (Family Secrets), marking the first Turkish drama to be nominated in the category since 2018. Kara Sevda, another drama produced by Ay Yapım, won the award in 2016.
Yargı follows the story of Ilgaz (Kaan Urgancıoğlu) and Ceylin (Pınar Deniz), whose paths cross with a murder case, will have to act together to find the murderer, and this will create an irreversible breaking point in both of their lives.
The 2023 edition of International Emmy® will take in New York City, on Monday, November 20, 2023.
