Production is officially underway for the Turkish adaptation of the hit Korean Drama Remember: War Of The Son. Locally titled Taş, Kağıt, Makas, the series produced by MF Yapim is set to premiere this winter on Kanal D.
The cast of the series, which will bring an engaging story questioning the notion that the strong is not always right, but the one in power is deemed right, and where injustice is scrutinized, features successful names such as Ekin Koç, Serra Arıtürk, Ozan Güven, Burak Yörük, Hande Ataizi, Aytaç Uşun, Bülent Seyran, and Selim Galip.
Directed by Yusuf Pirhasan and written by Uğraş Güneş, 'Taş, Kağıt, Makas' follows the story of Umut (Ekin Koç), who lives in a shantytown, in order to prove his father's innocence against the real owners of the system.
Like in the original series, the main character, Umut, has an extraordinary memory ability known as hyperthymesia that he uses to help him seek justice.
