Çukur (S01E02)

Opening the door from the hotel room in Paris, Yamaç was not aware that he opens the door to a new era and new life, exactly the one he escaped 10 years ago. Standing in front of his family home, he remembers that horrible night when after the bloody incident, he argued with his father and left the house, saying he wouldn't come back no matter what. But life had a different plan for him, obviously. Hearing the news that his brother Kahraman was killed, and his father is in a critical condition after suffering a heart attack, he had to accept his mother's call for help. 

Not trusting enough in Selim's abilities, Sultan Anne assigns Yamaç as a leader of Çukur, asking him to bring peace to the neighborhood and the family as well. Yamaç feels lost in this world, but he quickly figures out that something is not right with the story of his brother's death. 

The team discovers that it was Vartolu Saadettin who killed Kahraman, so they try to revenge. In the background, Selim is secretly cooperating with Vartolu, and gets angry to him because of the problems he cause. Vartolu's anger goes so far so he tries to kill Idris Baba in the hospital, but just in time Yamaç succeeds to save his life. He still carry the weight of the broken and controversial relationship with his father, but for a fact he loves him and deeply admires him. 

On the other side, Sena, after realizing that Yamaç vanished without a trace, comes back to Istanbul, trying to figure out what happened with the man she married. She goes to her parents in Izmir, asking for compassion, comfort and help to find out where is Yamaç, and who is he at all. But the troubled relationship with her mother makes her leave again. One night all of a sudden, as she opens her eyes, she sees Yamaç. Out of herself, not believing her own eyes, she doesn't know how to react. Broken of pain because she misses him very much, but also hurt and devastated, she confronts him demanding an explanation. Distracted of the argument, Yamaç and Sena don't even know what kind of danger is waiting for them.

In the meantime in Çukur, marvelling at the beautiful Istanbul night, Vartolu is starting to reveal his secret...
