'Teşkilat' Season 5: Trailer, Cast, Release Date, and Everything Else to Know

TRT1 has ordered more episodes of Teşkilat, extending the series to five seasons. The action-packed drama, which originally premiered in 2021, follows specially trained intelligence agents tasked with keeping Türkiye safe from local and international forces. In the new season, dubbed "Altay’dan Tuna’ya" (From Altay to Tuna), the story has been refreshed with only a handful of cast members from previous seasons set to return.

Season 5 of Teşkilat is slated to premiere on Sunday, September 22, on TRT1.

What is the plot of Season 5 of Teşkilat?

At the center of the new season is a brand new character, Captain Altay, played by the latest entry into the cast, Tolga Sarıtaş. In the new Season 5, he joins the task force to root out the enemy. Despite the losses Neslihan (Aybüke Pusat) suffered, she stands firmly at the head of her duty and fights for her homeland without blinking an eye. Korkut, on the other hand, completely breaks away from his old life and finds himself in the grip of danger. The great trials Neslihan and Captain Altay will face after crossing paths will mark the beginning of a new era in Teşkilat.

Who is in Teşkilat Season 5?

Teşkilat has been on for ages at this point, and with the high turnover rate in the dizi industry, its cast has unsurprisingly shuffled and re-shuffled throughout the years. Heading into Season 5, the series will see a slew of new characters join the cast and we've got the deets on each one.

Altay (Tolga Sarıtaş): Captain Altay. Brave, fearless, and a true leader. His enemies, whom he has made suffer, know him as "Kurtbey." There is nothing he wouldn't do to protect his country and loved ones.

Neslihan (Aybüke Pusat): Despite the losses she has suffered and the betrayals she has faced, she has never faltered and continues to serve her country with great success. She bows to no one, whether at the negotiation table or in the field.

Korkut (Yunus Emre Yıldırımer): After losing those closest to him, Korkut has only one goal left in life. He is willing to risk any danger for this goal and never compromises his fearlessness.

Kate (Tuvana Türkay): Cold-blooded and ruthless, Kate works for the CIA. She is also Tufan’s behind-the-scenes mentor. Their marriage is real; it's not an act.

Tufan (Murat Aygen): A Turkish businessman on the surface. Thanks to his marriage to Kate, he has become very wealthy, gained influential friends worldwide, and is even so deluded as to imagine himself one day leading the country.

Makinist (Ushan Çakır): One of Kate’s trusted field operatives. He is as dangerous as he is cunning. However, even his loyalty to Kate is rooted in fear.

Uzay (Serdar Yeğin): A team without him is unimaginable. He stands by his teammates with his wisdom, attention to detail, and quick reflexes during the most critical moments. While his logic often dominates his emotions, even he is sometimes surprised by what he feels.

Nazlı (Melisa Akman): The best in her field. She has never let her experiences hold her back and never gives up on her duty. However, even she sometimes struggles to maintain her positivity and focus.

Sedat (Eren Hacısalihoğlu): A man who works for Hamdi, Sedat dislikes Korkut's involvement in their group. He is constantly trying to expose Korkut and wants Hamdi to suspect him. Sedat’s ultimate goal is to take Hamdi’s place.

Güniz (Özlem Maden): Hamdi's wife. Despite Hamdi being deeply in love with her, he has darkened her life. Even though she is unhappy, Güniz believes that staying by the side of the powerful is the right decision.

Hamdi (Murat Han): A friendly but tough man. Korkut impresses Hamdi when they meet. When they arrive at Hamdi's mansion in Istanbul, Korkut realizes that Hamdi is a mafia boss.

Akif Başkan (Adnan Biricik): With his experience and intelligence, Akif is always a guiding force. His calm and composed decisions during critical moments lead him and those around him to success.
