Summary:

After Ruya saves her father from Iskender, she tells Ömer she doesn’t appreciate him hiding the truth from her and if they’re going to continue with their relationship, he can’t deceive her again because she doesn’t want to give up on him.  He agrees and apologizes to her.

Ozan makes the decision to ask his uncle for money to pay off the loan.  Apparently, Ozan hasn’t spoken with him since his father’s death because his uncle got a loan in his father’s name that he never paid and when his father looked for him to pay it, he disappeared leaving his father with the debt.  His uncle agrees to help him, however, when he suggests giving him the money, Ömer tells him he prefers to work for it so he can pay his debt.  Ozan and Ömer go to the money lender to pay off the debt however after they get into a fight, they inform Ozan that his debt was paid off a long time ago by Adnan, Çelebi's right-hand man.  Ozan goes to Çelebi, where he sees Jemre, to confront him for attempting to blackmail him but Çelebi tries to explain that he was just helping him so he wouldn’t be homeless since Jemre is staying at his house.  Ozan informs him his debt is paid off and throws the money at him and leaves without saying anything further to Jemre.  Later, when Jemre calls Ozan to explain her reason for being at Çelebi's house, he tells her there she doesn’t owe him an explanation.

Ruya is disappointed in her father for being Iskender and Çelebi's accomplice, however, Kenan tells her the only thing he did was make sure the event took place in the refinery.  He assures her he had no knowledge that they planned on provoking a fire to hide their actions but Ruya has a hard time believing him.  The following day, Ozan, Ömer, Ruya, and Kenan go to Tomris’ residence to discuss going to the police so Kenan can confess, however, Tomris isn’t ready for him to do that because of Atlas.  She tells them Çelebi is still keeping his word and helping her to delay the exhumation of Şimal’s body, so Ömer tells them about Iskender’s threat regarding Kenan’s future causing them to worry that they may want to harm him.  At that moment, the police arrive to take Tomris to the police station due to a complaint they received that Şimal is the one buried in Çiçek's grave and need her to provide a DNA sample.  After she leaves, Ozan and Ömer decide to hide Kenan until they’re ready to have him confess.

Ömer checks on Kenan who has a request from him.  He asks Ömer to protect Ruya while he’s away however Ömer tells him she doesn’t need protection since she’s no longer the princess she was before but will look after her whenever she needs him.  At the same time, Ozan experiences his first day at work and discovers his uncle runs a shady construction company that doesn’t pay its employees and has multiple work hazards.

Later, Ömer asks Ruya to dinner but she’s still mad at him.  He finally gets her to forgive him and when they arrive at the restaurant, he surprises her by telling her they’re the cooks for the night.  She tells him she doesn’t know how but he doesn’t accept her excuses, so he tells her to use her phone to get recipes and puts her to work.  Two hours later, they close the restaurant and an exhausted Ruya appreciates Ömer for helping her forget all her troubles for a few hours.

The day comes for Çiçek to get her bandages removed after her reconstructive surgery.  Ruya is there for moral support and once the bandages are removed, Çiçek's face is almost back to normal.  She’s extremely happy with the results but Atlas fears that she’s leaving him, however she assures him that she’s not going anywhere.  Soon after, Çiçek gets ready to see Ali but decides to surprise him by wearing her mask.  When he sees her, he tells her she shouldn’t wear the mask for him because he still sees her as the same person from the first day they met.  When she takes it off, she surprises him with her new look.

After she leaves Ali, she encounters Iskender waiting for her outside who asks for her help to locate Kenan before Çelebi.  He attempts to persuade her by telling her that his life is in danger if he confesses so he’s trying to save him.  He swears to her that he won’t harm him and eventually begs her to help him which she ultimately does.

Later, Tomris receives notice that the DNA results have arrived and is taken to the police station.  Once she’s there, the police investigator tells her and Çelebi the results don’t show any connection to her.  Before she leaves, the investigator asks if she’s heard from Şimal so Çelebi tells them they’ve reported her missing since they haven’t heard from her in a while.  Once outside, Çelebi informs Tomris he used a body of a girl who committed suicide for the DNA test and to pose as Şimal so the police will be notified that Şimal killed herself which will end their search for her.  Çelebi tells Tomris he completed his part of their agreement so he wants the artwork returned to him but Tomris refuses.  She says she’s keeping them as evidence when Kenan testifies against them, however, Çelebi tells her she shouldn’t be so sure and warns her that she will be responsible if anything bad happens for not keeping her part of the agreement.  After Çelebi leaves, he orders his men to follow Iskender to locate Kenan.

Jemre continues to stay at Çelebi's house as Gunesh recovers from the flu.  Once she starts to feel better, she promises to bake a cake with Gunesh but Çelebi forces her to make a decision.  She either stays with Gunesh and him but Jemre tells him she’s moving forward with the divorce so Çelebi throws her out of the house.  As she’s leaving, Gunesh sees her so Jemre tells her she has to leave.  When she tries to tell her the truth, Çelebi interrupts and tells her Jemre decided to leave because she prefers her other house.  Gunesh is devastated and tells her she doesn’t love her anymore.

When Tomris informs Ruya she can’t get in touch with Kenan, she goes to check on him but doesn’t find him so they call Ozan to figure out what to do.  They decide to take Iskender and force him to tell them where he has Kenan.  After Ruya calls Iskender to arrange a meeting with him, he overhears Çelebi ordering his men to take care of “the problem” so Iskender figures out Çelebi intends to kill Kenan.  When he reminds him that he promised he wouldn’t hurt him, Çelebi tells him he refuses to take the risk of Kenan staying quiet.  Iskender rushes to get Kenan not realizing that Ruya, Ömer, and Ozan are following him as well as Çelebi's men.  It becomes a race to see who gets to Kenan first.

Once Iskender picks up Kenan, he informs him he has to leave the country immediately to save him from Çelebi, so Kenan asks Iskender if he can call Ruya before he leaves.  When he speaks with her, he tells her that he can’t confess and asks for her forgiveness before hanging up.  At that moment, Çelebi's men attack Iskender and take Kenan.  After Iskender confronts Çelebi, he tells him he did it to save him because his weakness is trusting people, so Iskender responds that it’s because he’s human not like him.

In a last-ditch effort to make Iskender pay for his crimes, Ömer suggests they take the artwork and put it in Iskender’s property and call the police.  However, when they arrive at the location, they find Kenan dead in an apparent suicide.

What I Loved:

I loved it when Ömer tried to make Ruya feel better after she found out about her father.  He was clueless but trying to be a supportive boyfriend even though Ruya was mad at him.  After Ozan showed up and she yells at both of them, then orders them to show up the following morning leaving them speechless was hilarious!  It was even funnier when Ozan asked Ömer if he should think twice about his relationship with her.  I loved the scene between Çiçek and Ali when she visited him in jail.  When he told her that she will always look the way she did when they first met was the sweetest thing especially since Çiçek is so sensitive about her appearance.

What I Disliked:

Bulant continues to be the worst person ever.  In an attempt to pay a gambling debt, he files a complaint against Tomris regarding Şimal in an attempt to extort money from her again.  When he confronts Tomris about it, he grabs her and demands she gives him Atlas, however, Ömer shows up to defend her and knocks him out!  What I Disliked: Bulant continues to be the worst person ever.  In an attempt to pay a gambling debt, he files a complaint against Tomris regarding Şimal in an attempt to extort money from her again.  When he confronts Tomris about it, he grabs her and demands she gives him Atlas, however, Ömer shows up to defend her and knocks him out!

My Thoughts:

Although Kenan’s death was made to look like a suicide, it’s obvious Çelebi had him killed but will Ruya and the others believe he took his life or try to prove he was killed?  I wonder if Çiçek will admit to Ruya that she told Iskender where to find Kenan.  I think that if she does, Ruya is going to have a difficult time forgiving her.  Will Tomris blame herself since Çelebi warned her that bad things would happen for not holding up her part of the deal?  I give Iskender credit for trying to do good and save Kenan but since he failed, I wonder if the added guilt will change him for the worst.  I feel like he has some good in him but his insecurities and Çelebi's constant criticism don’t allow it to come out.  Overall another terrific episode!
