The series tells the story of the Maçaris, a large family from Karadeniz.
Osman Maçari, realizing he is living the final days of his life due to health problems, wants to take back his son Azil (Halit Özgür Sarı), whom he took years ago from his mother Asiye (Ayten Uncuoğlu) and raised like his own to keep him safe. Azil is the son of Mercan, Osman’s great love, who died during childbirth.
Meanwhile, Osman Maçari’s other son Mehmet (Mustafa Açılan), who has gotten into trouble with shady dealings, has just been released from prison. As soon as he regains his freedom, Mehmet resumes his illegal activities at full speed—and becomes an enemy to Azil, who interferes with his business by blocking the unloading of goods from his ship.
On the other hand, the path of Güneş, a very compassionate and helpful woman, crosses with Captain Azil during a sea voyage by chance. The two young people are deeply affected by one another—but Güneş’s connection to the Maçari family shocks Azil to his core.

These letters, intended to be delivered in 2023, were accidentally discovered by Fatma Ayar's daughter, Elif. As these forgotten letters resurface and impact the lives of their original recipients, Elif also faces a truth that will drastically change her own life.
