Zümrüdüanka (S01E01)

Zümrüt Kuloğlu lives with her father, mother and two siblings in the most poverty-stricken neighborhood of Nevşehir. She works in a factory owned by the Demirkans, one of the most powerful families in Central Anatolia. Zümrüt's mother is a woman who constantly complains about her state of poverty and wanting to marry off her daughters into wealth in other to get rid of the 'wretched' life they live.

On the one hand, Zümrüt struggles to cope with her pressures while on the other, she tries to hide from her mother the marriage proposal from Adil Bey, one of the Demirkan heirs. However, her mother will learn this and will resort to a thousand kinds of games to get her daughter to the wedding table.

Zümrüt will resist against all odds. Because there is a secret that scorches your heart – she is in love with Demirkans ' grandson, Serhat, who was reportedly martyred in Syria... And that love has turned to ashes.
