Synopsis
The town of Zembilli turns into a festive scene when Murad returns home on leave from the military. Murad’s sister, Fidan, has long been secretly in love with Adem, Murad’s best friend. Exhausted from hiding their relationship, Fidan insists that Adem reveal the truth to her brother. Meanwhile, Murad learns that a suitor has come to visit Esma, the woman he loves. Determined to make a promise before he leaves again, he faces a condition from Esma’s father: Murad must defeat Balaban, the renowned wrestler of the Toros Mountains, to win his daughter’s hand.
Fırıncı Kadir, the town’s most flamboyant bachelor and a close friend of Murad and Adem, is smitten with Gülnur, the most glamorous girl in the village. Upon receiving a letter, he begins plotting to elope with her, enlisting the reluctant and kind-hearted Müezzin Vahit, known for his moral integrity, into his plan.
Meanwhile, Veterinarian Tarık, recently discharged from the military, is searching for direction in his life while secretly pursuing the lure of hidden treasure.
The intertwined lives of these five inseparable yet distinct friends are filled with dreams and schemes—but nothing will unfold as they hoped.
