Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı (S02E01)

Mehmed, having removed many obstacles in the way of the Siege of Constantinople, is counting down the days to the great campaign. He has united all his viziers and subjects with hearts beating for this cause. In preparation for the siege, in addition to various military elements, Mehmed has also strengthened his navy, entrusting it to Baltaoğlu. However, Baltaoğlu faces a dilemma. Amidst these efforts, there is also excitement about an impending birth. Gülşah is heavily pregnant and is expected to give birth soon. Will the child be a boy or a girl? The answer is eagerly awaited. This is an event that could shift all the balances in the Harem.

Meanwhile, in Byzantium, the fear of the Ottomans is growing, leading to precautionary measures and desperate solutions. Constantine, now isolated, is struggling to make the right decisions. His master, Plethon, noticing this, strongly advises Constantine to recall Notaras. Will Constantine call Notaras back? Will Notaras return despite everything that has happened? How will this affect the balance of power in Byzantium?
