Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı

Summary

Şehzade Alaaddin’s death, which shook Murad Khan, was unexpected, and he withdrew to Bursa. His son, Şehzade Mehmed, took his place. Although Mehmed may seem inexperienced to European states, the reality is different. Sultan Mehmed, who ascended the throne, will face his first major challenge against Orhan, who has taken refuge in Byzantium and gained support. Orhan, thinking Mehmed is young and inexperienced, tries to defeat him, while Mehmed struggles to prove that he is the rightful heir.

Sultan Mehmed has a dream: to conquer Constantinople. He gathers his viziers to achieve this goal. However, those around him do not understand Mehmed's intentions. A group led by Çandarlı tries to persuade Mehmed, thinking that capturing Constantinople would be difficult. However, Mehmed is different from the others and is determined. He orders the preparations to begin.

Çandarlı encourages the Janissaries to revolt, causing chaos in the capital. Mehmed is forced to gather his army to fight the rebels. Mehmed's army and the rebellious Janissaries confront each other. Mehmed is determined to kill the rebels, but Çandarlı's final move stops him. Mehmed submits to his father's side. While Çandarlı wins this battle, Mehmed loses and is sent into exile.

However, it is not over for Mehmed. He will return as a sultan one day.
