'The Affair' Turkish Remake in the Works at BluTV – First Look Photos

by

Earlier this year, BluTV commissioned a Turkish remake of the award-winning American drama series The Affair, which premiered to much acclaim in 2014, concluding in 2019 after 5 seasons.

The Affair centered around an extramarital affair between a grieving waitress and an accomplished teacher and budding novelist, who was married with kids.  Episodes of the original series were narrated from the perspective of two different characters, often jumping between different timelines.

The remake, which has been in production since July, is entitled 'Saklı' and it is set to be written and directed by Deniz Akçay, with MAY Productions (Alef) producing.

In Saklı, the audience will witness how different perspectives change people's lives at the same time, and viewers of all ages will find something of themselves.

Saklı stars Hazar Ergüçlü, Fırat Çelik, Defne Kayalar and Ahmet Rıfat Şungar alongside Zuhal Olcay, Nur Sürer, Erdal Küçükkömürcü, and Janset.

Saklı is reportedly set to premiere sometime this year on BluTV!
