OGM Pictures continues to bring a fresh breath to the Turkish television industry with its ambitious projects.
The cult classic novel Olasılıksız (“Improbable”) by Adam Fawer, which has reached millions of readers worldwide, is being adapted for television by OGM Pictures. The prodco, which had previously acquired the adaptation rights to the book, announced the project with a major name: Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ in the lead role.
To sweeten the pot, the adaptation is being written by one of Türkiye's most prolific writers, Necati Şahin, known most recently for his work on the critically-acclaimed Turkish Drama Kızıl Goncalar.
Described as a science fiction thriller, the overview of the original Olasılıksız novel reads:
David Caine inhabits a world of obsession, rich rewards, and rapid, destructive downfalls. A compulsive gambler and brilliant mathematician prone to crippling epileptic seizures, he possesses the uncanny ability to calculate odds of any hand in the blink of an eye.
