The FOX lineup in the new season is already filling up. The network has just officially announced a brand new drama series, entitled "Uzak Şehrin Masalı."
Uzak Şehrin Masalı, which started filming back in July, is produced by 25 Film (Kefaret), directed by Mustafa Şevki Doğan, and written by Can Sinan. We're particually looking forward to this one as the cast lineup includes many of our favorites, including Aslıhan Güner, Barış Kılıç, Timur Acar, Begüm Birgören and Zeynep Eronat.
In the series, Umay (Aslıhan Güner), who is inconsolable after learning her husband Affan (Timur Acar) has a child with another woman, leaves their mansion with their two children and takes shelter with her older sister Sonay (Begüm Birgören).
Meanwhile, Kürşat (Barış Kılıç), who entered the border illegally, hides in Sonay's house to evade the gendarme after him. To hide his true identity, Umay, Sonay, and Kürşat, whose paths cross, claim that Kürşat is Sonay's missing husband. Until things begin to get complicated as both Umay and Sonay begin to fall in love with Kürşat... Dun-dun-dun!
Uzak Şehrin Masalı premieres this Fall on FOX!
