Cem Gelinoğlu and Özge Özacar have been tapped to lead FOX's upcoming summer dizi, "Kısmet" (Fate).
The series produced by NTC Medya revolves around Doğan, a beloved lawyer in the neighborhood, and his beautiful neighbor Melike, who haven't been able to get together since they were 5. Sometimes love is not enough to unite two parties that love each other deeply, but separation is not "Kismet" either.
Reportedly, the series kicks off with Melike raiding Doğan's wedding on a motorcycle and kidnapping him.
The cast of Kısmet also features Cenan Adıgüzel, Lale Mansur, Arif Pişkin, Serdar Orçin, Kerem Kupacı, Erdal Küçükkömürcü, Zeynep Kankonde, Yeliz Şar, Ece Yaşar, Değer Soysal Alp, Neşe Baykent, Serhan Ernak, Sezer Koç, Göktuğ Yıldırım, Deniz Gürkan, Gökçe Şen, Nebi Tolga Yılmaz and Naz Öngen.
Kısmet, premiering this summer on FOX, is directed by Semih Bağcı and written by Mahinur Ergun and Yusuf Reha Alp.
