At last, we have a title. Last month, we reported that Murat Yıldırım and Ebru Şahin had been tapped to star in a previously-titled NOW "Beni Bul" series.
Today (Aug 23), NOW officially confirmed the title of the series, which is "Gizli Bahçe." The TMC Film-produced Gizli Bahçe - which translates to Find Me - has since started filming, and the original story by Neşe Şen is penned for TV by Emre Özdür and Hazar Kozice, with Recai Karagöz directing.
In the series, Murat Yıldırım portrays famous architect Demir, and the actor recently filmed scenes in the enchanting city of Marrakech, Morocco. The crew underwent an intensive pre-production period for the Marrakech scenes, completing the shoot in four days. The scenes, shot amidst the stunning beauty of Marrakech’s historic structures and architecture, will be featured in the first couple of episodes of the series.
Ebru Şahin, who plays the role of Nazlı, a single mother in the series, flew to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for her own scenes. After a meticulous pre-production phase, the scenes featuring Ebru Şahin were filmed in the Gazimağusa and İskele regions over four days. Following these scenes, the crew continues filming in Istanbul.
“Gizli Bahçe,” which is described as a "deep love story," tells the story of Demir (Yıldırım), who discovers that his deceased brother has a son and enters into a custody battle with the boy’s mother, Nazlı (Şahin).
The cast of the series also includes Kerem Özdoğan, Ezgi Eyüboğlu, Çağdaş Onur Öztürk, Uğur Çavuşoğlu, Zerrin Nişancı, Kubilay Karslıoğlu, Burcu Türünz, Gülin İyigün, Birsen Dürülü, Hakkı Ergök, Numan Çakır, Cemil Büyükdöğerli, Yıldırım Memişoğlu, Sude Belkıs, Toprak Kahraman and child actor, Pamir Boyraz.
