When asked to describe each other in one word, "compatible" was the first word that came to mind, and that rings very true for the remarkable duo that brought us many laughs in Kanal D's romantic comedy series, Baht Oyunu (English Title: Twist of Fate).
Premiering in Summer '21, the series Baht Oyunu tells the story of a superstitious girl named Ada (Cemre Baysel), who believes that if she cannot marry her first love, she will be cursed for life. For Ada, clinging on to her marriage with Rüzgar (İdris Nebi Taşkan) is the only way to ensure the history of the women in her family does not repeat itself, but as she proposes, fate opposes. After a chance encounter and some twist of fate (literally!), Ada begins to work as an assistant to the attractive Bora (Aytaç Şaşmaz), the stern boss of the company she joins, who has absolutely no interest in love. Despite her self-imposed ill fate, people trying to cut them off, and many other obstacles to surmount, with time, life will challenge Ada and Bora individually, and with time, they come to appreciate and eventually fall in love with one another.
In the few months of being on-air, Baht Oyunu attracted a solid fan following, amassing millions of social media interactions along the way. Rightfully, many resonated strongly with the series, raving about its comedic moments and the palpable chemistry between the leads, which oozed for miles away!
