Production is underway for TOD's suspense-filled series, produced by Karga 7 Pictures and directed by Deniz Yorulmazer, with an original story and screenplay by Nuray Uslu and Milay Ezengin.
Per the official press release, every episode of the series, led by Hazal Kaya and Çağlar Ertuğrul, will pose the question: "How many lies make up a truth?"
Sorgu, which translates in English as Interrogation, will follow Kaya's character, Cihan Manoğlu, a sole female officer in the interrogation unit, who finds her father, Hayati, dead under suspicious circumstances. The case falls into the hands of her colleague and fellow interrogator, Metin Yazıcı (Çağlar Ertuğrul). As the truths about the case unfold, it will also test the deep love between Cihan and Metin. In this story, no one is safe from potentially becoming a murder suspect.
Further cast includes Boncuk Yılmaz, Melisa Döngel, Deniz Hamzaoğlu, Oktay Çubuk, Kubilay Tunçer, Ebru Aykaç, Burak Hakkı, Ezgi Tombul, Deniz Karaoğlu, Asu Lal Burnak, Zeynep Kızıltan and Şehsuvar Aktaş.
Sorgu, a TOD ORIGINALS production, will premiere soon exclusively on TOD and will also be simultaneously broadcast in the Middle East and North Africa alongside Turkey.
