We have a date. After concluding filming last summer, Netflix has finally unveiled the date for its latest original, entitled Aşk 101 (Love 101).
Set to premiere on Friday, April 24, Aşk 101 stars so many fan-favorites to count. The list includes Alina Boz, Mert Yazıcıoğlu, Kubilay Aka, Pınar Deniz, Selahattin Paşalı, İpek Yazıcı and Kaan Urgancıoğlu.
Per the official synopsis, the series is set primarily in 1998, with present-day vignettes that frame each episode. LOVE 101 follows a group of 17-year-old misfits who set their mind on keeping their favorite teacher in town, so that they can stay in school. They plot for her to fall in love with the new basketball coach, but in doing so they don’t realize that they are actually discovering love themselves. Through this journey they will learn they have more in common than they know, are stronger together than they are apart and that love can’t be manufactured.
The series is sure to be a treat as it is directed by Ahmet Katıksız (Kara Para Aşk) as well as Ufak Tefek Cinayetler's Deniz Yorulmazer.
