TRT1 continues to add to their ever-growing slate of dizis. Gönül Dağı, their latest production, is a story inspired by Mustafa Çiftçi, aka the "pen of the Bozkır."
The visually-stunning series is said to sincerely reflect the district of Bozkır and the people living in that region and it aims to have viewers hooked right from its first episode.
Gönül Dağı, starring Berk Atan and Gülsüm Ali İlhan, tells the story of the friendly, affectionate Anatolian people living in a charming town in the middle Bozkır.
It is a story of people who wholeheartedly live their legends, traditions, and values that have sunk into oblivion in cities. The characters in this dizi feel their love with their hearts while working and struggling tirelessly to live out their hopes and dreams. From their wedding parties to their mourners, to even their traditions, the people of Anatolia with all their sincerity will be put on full display in Gönül Dağı, set to premiere sometime this fall. The ornament of Bozkır lands is the symbol of freedom.
The series will particularly focus on Taner, a young man who has long dreamed of one day reuniting with his childhood love, Dilek.
