After everyone realizes the weapons have been switched out with toy guns, Salman threatens both Ariza and Hasmet that they’ll answer for the mix-up.  Ariza tells him that before he dies, he will find out who set him up.  As Salman calls his client to notify them he doesn’t have the weapons, Burak kills him and informs the client that they will receive their shipment within 2 days as promised.  A shocked Hasmet yells at Burak for killing Salman who responds that he has a plan.  Ariza accuses Burak of staging the entire scene and promises of finding the weapons.  Hasmet shouts at Sabri that he should kill himself instead of killing their team since he was the one who was in charge of security.  As Sabri is about to pull the trigger, Ariza stops him and tells Hasmet that he needs Sabri’s help to locate the weapons.

Later, Fuat calls Hasmet to inform him the consortium will be having an emergency meeting to discuss the stolen weapons and require Ariza to attend.  Hasmet asks Ariza to see him so they can come up with a plan on how they’re going to ask for time to find the weapons.  Ariza has already asked Muzaffer to help locate the weapons or the people Burak used to steal them.  He warns Ariza to be prepared to be thrown under the bus by Hasmet, and Ariza responds that if that happens, he’s going to take a few of them down with him.

During Ariza and Hasmet’s meeting, they figure out that Burak and Fuat set them up by killing Salman so the partners would feel threatened and want immediate action to save their lives.  Hasmet warns Ariza the partners will more than likely want his head or both of their heads as payback.  Ariza asks Hasmet to try to get him time to locate the weapons.  As Ariza is waiting for Hasmet to leave for their meeting, Halide asks him if he would like to go out with her.  Ariza is thrilled but tells her he has to take care of business with her father that evening.  Halide is disappointed and asks if it’s more important than her.  Ariza tells her very sweetly that nothing is more important than her but unfortunately he has to attend the meeting and try to save his life.

During the consortium meeting, Burak updates the partners on the situation.  They demand to know how it happened if Ariza supposedly had the weapons under security.  Ariza asks the partners for time to locate the weapons and informs them he believes he was set up but doesn’t have proof yet.  Mithat yells at Ariza to stop making excuses however Hasmet interrupts and tells him that he’s as responsible as Ariza for the mix-up.  The partners ask Hasmet how he’s going to respond to losing the deal.  Fuat interrupts and reminds them that Hasmet has been out of the business for a while so they should be understanding and proceeds to tell them Burak already solved the problem.  He was prepared with an alternate plan after killing Salman by purchasing weapons in Russia which are on their way.  The consortium asks Ariza and Burak to leave the room so they can continue their discussion.  Mithat campaigns for Burak to become a partner since he was able to solve the problem caused by Ariza that will save their lives.  Fuat acts surprised by his suggestion which of course was their plan all along.  The partners tell Mithat they should wait until Burak delivers the weapons and then they can decide on how to reward him.

After the meeting ends, Hasmet informs Ariza the real plan was to get Burak a seat with the consortium by using the stolen weapons as the excuse.  He tells him Fuat and Mithat appear to be working together which is not good for them.  Fuat tells Burak that Mithat has recommended he become a partner which surprises him.  He tells him that he should reward his future father-in-law for supporting him so Burak calls Derya to ask her to dinner which she happily accepts.

Later that evening, Ariza joins Halide at the club as she performs on stage and sings for him.  She’s thrilled that he loves her singing and they spend time together at the bar like a normal couple for once.  After Halide has a few drinks, she confesses that she was ready to start a new life even though it’s not what she thought it would be.  Ariza doesn’t understand so she explains that her father returning to the consortium and Ariza joining him affected her future.  Ariza explains that he will always be by her side but she reminds him how much effort it took for him to join her that evening.  Ariza promises that he will take her out to dinner soon but Halide has a better idea.  She tells him that he should take her to eat that same night before something else comes up.  Ariza happily agrees.

As Halide starts to doze off, Ariza gets a call from Muzaffer who tells him he found the location of the place Burak is using to hide the men who stole the weapons.  He tells him he needs to go there immediately before Burak kills them so Ariza reluctantly takes a sleeping Halide along with him.  As he nears the location, he hears gunshots.  Ariza saves one of the men but not before he gets shot.  Halide wakes up and freaks out when she sees the injured man in their car.  She tells Ariza he needs to take him to the hospital immediately but he tells her that his life depends on this man who may get killed if he takes him to a hospital.  They get to Hasan’s house and Halide performs emergency surgery to remove the bullets however they’re interrupted by a very jealous Fusun who tries to shame Halide for being with Ariza.  Halide tells Fusun to stop humiliating herself by refusing to leave them alone and slams the door on her face.  An angry Fusun goes to Ariza’s mother who uses the excuse of seeing blood on the driveway and urges her to check on him.  When Ariza’s mother arrives, she finds Halide performing surgery and instead of asking questions, she helps her.  Once the surgery is done, Halide has a breakdown.  Ariza tries to apologize for how their evening turned out and Halide explains that this is how his life will be when you’re part of the crime world.  She doesn’t understand why he wants to be a part of it when she’s trying to get him out.

The following morning, the man wakes up and informs Ariza that he doesn’t know anything about the location of the weapons just that he overheard the guards talking about serial numbers.  After Ariza gets the information he needs, Halide asks him to take her home.  As they arrive at her house, they’re met by Hasmet but Halide refuses to speak to either of them.  Ariza updates Hasmet who becomes upset when he finds out that Halide had to treat the man that Ariza saved.  He reminds Ariza that he agreed to help him as long as Halide did not get involved in their business.  Ariza tells Hasmet there was nothing else he could do otherwise the man would have died if Halide hadn’t treated him right away.  Ariza informs Hasmet that Burak is removing the serial numbers from the weapons so he calls his contacts and gets names of a few craftsmen to try to find the one they’re using.

Hasmet checks on Halide the following day to see how she’s doing.  She asks him if she can ever start a new life.  Hasmet tells her that she can do whatever she wants but he will never be able to leave the crime world.  He tells her sadly that he knows that it’s not what she wanted for him but she should live her life away from there as long as she’s happy.

There is a lot of movement within the consortium partners.  Burak continues to campaign for a chair and focuses on Galip by visiting him and pretending to look up to him as a role model.  Sheymuz visits Hasmet to see how they should respond to Mithat’s request.  He’s surprised when Hasmet informs him that Galip hasn’t spoken to him which makes them both think that Galip wants Hasmet to reach out to him to beg him for his vote.  Hasmet tells Sheymuz that he will never beg Galip for his vote because he knows that it will come with a price.

Ariza finally locates the workshop owned by the craftsman who is working for Burak to remove the serial numbers on the weapons.  Since they’re not able to reach him by phone, they come up with a plan to pretend to burn down the shop and put it on the news since the man is obsessed with watching the news as he works.  Their plan is a success.  The man sees his shop on fire on the news program and escapes from the warehouse.  Once he gets to his workshop, he goes straight to his bedroom to check on the damage especially his money that he has hidden in the walls of his shop.  Ariza and his crew come out and make him take them to the warehouse to get back the stolen weapons.

Ariza and crew are able to fight their way into the warehouse and locate the weapons.  He calls Hasmet to give him the good news who rushes to meet him.

As Burak is enjoying his dinner with Derya, Fiko informs him that someone has attacked the warehouse.  He immediately knows it’s Ariza so he leaves Derya and rushes to the warehouse.  When they arrive, Burak sees Ariza walking into the warehouse and orders his men to shoot a missile at him.  As Hasmet arrives, the warehouse explodes with Ariza inside.

I especially enjoyed the club scene with Halide singing.  There have been few scenes with Halide and Ariza in normal situations so it was a treat to see them interacting with each other and having regular conversations instead of trying to figure out who killed who.  I was hoping their relationship would evolve further in this episode but after Halide realized Ariza’s life isn’t stable, she may think twice about their future together.

Until next week!
