And the nominees are…
With the incredible outcome of the first edition of the Güzel Awards in 2019, Dizilah is thrilled to be announcing the first wave of nominations for the 2020 Güzel Awards with a slew of celebs and Turkish faves earning nods.
This year, the awards will be given in nine TV categories: Best New Television Series*, Best Villian, Best Couple*, Best Actor*, Best Actress*, Breakthrough Actor of the Year, Dizilah's Performer of the Year, Best Television Series*, and Best Web Series.
Submissions for the categories marked (*) will open today and continue until June 7, 11:059 PM EST. For the first wave of nominations, fans can vote via the show's official site: www.guzelawards.com.
The finalists in all categories but the "Breakthrough Actor of the Year" will be announced June 10, with the results determined by a fan-vote and a panel comprised of top Dizi critics. Meanwhile, the receipt for the "Breakthrough Actor of the Year" award will be revealed on Show Day.
The awards ceremony will be "held online" on the official Dizilah YouTube Channel on June 20, 2020.
